Producing Effective Podcasts for Your B2B or Association Publication

Trade Pub. Editor to Demonstrate, Share Tips for
Making Your Next Podcast a Screaming Success

From NPR newscasts to parenting tips to science factoids, the Podcasting
phenomenon is bringing information to our ears at a rapid pace. Just like
blogs, the frenzy around podcasting is growing, making many of us wonder,
can--and should--we be using this tool in B2B? You bet!

Consumer magazines are already putting the technology to work, and some trade and association pubs are starting to follow.

Isn't time you learned how to produce a podcast?

Podcasting is an inexpensive, easy way to reach your readers in a medium that's timely, compact, and quick. Getting started requires little more than downloading and getting familiar with some new software, investing in a microphone, and determining how your publication can best reach your readers through their ears instead of their eyes.

In this workshop, Craig Webb, editor of ProSales magazine, will show you:

  • how and when it’s appropriate to use podcasting,
  • the elements that make up a good podcast, and

  • the tools you’ll need to get started.
Invest in yourself by taking the minimal amount of time necessary to learn this important technology. This session will help you to acquire a marketable skill. It will also add another tool to your arsenal for differentiating your publication from the competition.
